Shedding pounds and getting in shape

In my not-so-new-found interest of losing weight and getting in shape, I’ve been reading a lot of interesting articles with different ideas about how to go about doing so. I’ve also found a lot of different sites with useful tools on tracking calories and exercise, such as Traineo and LiveStrong – I think I am finally going to settle with LiveStrong.

Dreams, do they really mean anything?

Recently I’ve been having a lot of weird dreams. My best friend has always had weird dreams. Usually I don’t remember my dreams. She always can describe to me her dreams in detail.

What does it mean? Does it mean something to remember a dream? If it was good or bad? My biggest question is: should I bother to care?

There are lots of theories on dreams, their meanings, and how it relates to our lives. But as Sigmund Freud is believed to have said… Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.

I’m interested if anyone has any thoughts, or any dreams they’d like to share.

What defines success and happiness?

Are you happy?

What are the ingredients in your life making you unhappy? Is it work you hate? Get a job you like better. Don’t let the lack of a degree or a lack of training stop you. Go online, go to your library, read, practice, research, maybe sign up for some classes and apply as an intern in the area you’d like a job in. Network, make friends in the industry and work your way up. Even if it means some financial sacrifices now, you’ll thank yourself for it later. Do your friends make you miserable? Lose them. You become like the people you surround yourself with. Find people you can really connect with and trust. Be the kind of friend you are looking for.
